This is a 101 level 1 Course introduction to shotgun ownership. This shotgun course is for the person who owns a shotgun or recently purchased a shotgun and never went about the fundamentals of its use. New owners, women and couples are encouraged to participate. Range time and range instruction include gun handling skill and manipulation, basic knowledge necessary to safe gun handling, stances, sight alignment, sight picture, shooting from the hip, trigger control, breathing, follow through, loading, firing, and most importantly muzzle management. The student, after this class, will be able to educate family members about the firearm in home safety, safe storage and transporting the firearm.
Range safety briefing and Emergency medical care is also addressed during every course.

101 - Everyday Shotgun
Estimated round count: 5 - 25 Slugs or more
Equipment list: Shotgun, with additional chokes if available, dummy rounds, eye and ear protection.
All shooters will demonstrate firearms handling skill, manipulation and dry fire techniques before live fire.
