Skill Builder: Defensive Rifle/Carbine - 201
INSTRUCTOR: CESAR PINERO ** This 201 Level 2 course is an introduction to Carbine/Rifle ownership. This Course is for the person who owns a Carbine/Rifle or recently purchased a Carbine/Rifle and never went about the fundamentals of its use. New owners, women and couples are encouraged to participate. Range time and range instruction include gun handling skills, and manipulation, basic knowledge necessary for safe gun handling, stances, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger control, breathing, follow through, loading, firing, and most importantly muzzle management. The student will find this course to be the perfect foundation for Carbine/Rifle manipulation.
Classroom and range time: Report Time 8:30AM Start Time 9:00AM - 2 hours Range safety briefing and Emergency medical care is also addressed during every course.
201 - Defensive Rifle/Carbine
- Estimated round count: 150 or more.(For sighting/zeroing the rifle)
Equipment list– Carbine/Rifle, 3 to 4 10 round rifle magazines (Law enforcement & Military Hi Cap mags) and pouches, rifle sling, duty rig, footwear with rubber soles suitable for rapid movement and turning, clothing suitable for training, hat with a brim, Knee and Elbow pads, shooting gloves, eyes and ear protection.
All shooters will demonstrate firearms handling skill, manipulation and dry fire techniques before live fire.
